How much will it cost?
There are two parts. One is the photographer's fee. The second part is how much will it cost to print photographs. Being an independent photographer, I understand the importance of staying within budget while maximizing quality and value. It is all the more relevant given the economic impact of the COVID crisis. Quality photography is affordable. Instead of a full-day wedding photo session, perhaps a half-day session, centered around the ceremony, would suffice. Or, possibly a two-hour session completely focused on the ceremony.
My fee begins at $85. That will get you a 30-45 minute photo session for a single portrait shot. I will send you the printed portrait, either 5 X 7 or 8-1/2 X 11, your choice. The preference these days have been for smaller prints. I will also email the print. A six portrait package, it will cost $125. You will receive an online gallery link, in which you may download, share, or print as many or as little as you want. A twelve portrait package will cost $175. Also, you will receive an online gallery link, in which you may download, share, or print as many or as little as you want.

FAQ
Do you shoot engagements and weddings?
Short answer, yes. Engagements and weddings are most requested of many photographers, regardless of their specialty. An engagement shoot is often done where the question was asked, or the couple's favorite spot. The setting is as much of the story as the engagement itself. The same is true for outdoor and at-home weddings, where the intimate setting is a vital part of the ceremony.
How do you photograph weddings?
Before the wedding day, at least two planning meetings should occur. The first meeting is for planning, laying out the shooting plan, and developing a priority level on photos. I will send you an outline that will help you fit the photo schedule into the broader plan for the day. The second meeting will finalize the photo schedule. On your wedding day, it is about capturing the feelings, moods, emotions, moments, and details that make your wedding so special. I'm more inclined to photograph outdoor and small, intimate weddings (indoor and outdoor). If your wedding is the judge's chambers type, I photograph those too.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I live and work primarily in the Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak region. I am available for hire along the Colorado Front Range and the eastern plains. A travel fee will be required further away from my home base. I will always try to be economical, and keep this expense affordable as possible. Much further afield? It doesn't hurt to ask and discuss.
Suppose I want a landscape instead?
Colorado is more than sweeping mountain vistas. On the Eastern Plains, it is prairie and farmland. Then, there are sunrises and sunsets that will absolutely steal your breath away. The four seasons. The wildlife. They are all worthy to grace your home and office as artwork. They also make for a great gift.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within 6-8 weeks, but it depends upon workflow, and/or the time of the year. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
For an all-day (8 hours) coverage of a wedding, I may shoot perhaps 400 to 600 images. In your personal gallery, I will post as many as possible, but I will always choose quality over quantity. The best and more significant photos will be selected to tell your story.
How do you bill?
I bill separately through PayPal. I am PayPal verified. You would receive a PayPal invoice for services rendered. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or electronic check. Best part, you do not need to have a PayPal account.
